Recognition of Commission Members, Friends of the Commission, and Guests

Minutes of Last Meeting – Comments about keeping minutes, providing to members and to City Hall for records, etc.

Commission Business Items

1. Reports on progress for the Commission proposed hosting of a version of the Massillon (OH) Museum’s “Faces of Rural America” exhibit (featuring Ravenswood’s Henry Clay Fleming’s photography work) in Ravenswood.

2. Consideration for approval of any action to be taken regarding Item #1 above.

3. Report on the Commission hosting WV Historic Preservation Office representatives to hold informational workshop to educate the members and friends of the Commission regarding the Old Town Historic District and learn about the opportunities that may exist because of the district’s designation/status.

4. Consideration for approval of any action to be taken regarding Item #3 above.

5. Report on progess toward developing a walking tour brochure promoting the Old Town Historic District (and Ravenswood history) brochures to be available at City Hall and Museum.

6. Consideration for approval of any action to be taken regarding Item #5 above.

7. Reort on Historic District signage program ideas, costs, and discussion of logical procedure and so forth.

 8. Consideration for approval of any action to be taken regarding Item #7 above. 

9.   Consideration and possible approval of submissions of Commission members to City Council…two to be renewed, one needs replaced.
